We offer infusion therapy of biologic medications in our patient friendly environment. Biologic medications may be used in the treatment of a variety of diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Psoriatic Arthritis, Crohns Disease, and Ankylosing Spondylitis. We also offer IV medications for the treatment of Osteoporosis. Our infusion area offers patients a comfortable atmosphere with reclining chairs and a television to help pass the time.
Joint injections and aspirations are done to help with diagnosis and treatment. They are performed in our office under sterile technique and local anesthetic by our providers. Drainage of joint effusions can provide pain relief and improved mobility. Corticosteroids may be given to treat inflammatory joint conditions, and Hyaluronic Acid injections (Gelsyn and Supartz) may be given to lessen the symptoms of Knee Osteoarthritis.
We perform X-rays on-site. The x-rays are read and interpreted by our physicians. If they cannot be performed in our office for clinical reasons or for issues of insurance coverage, testing can be done elsewhere and your physician will receive your results.
Bone Mineral Density testing is performed in our Osteoporosis clinic, located on the first floor of our building. Bone density testing allows the physician to evaluate for Osteopenia and Osteoporosis, assess the strength of the bone, and guide the use of new medications that can strengthen bone to reduce the risk of fractures. Bone density testing is done by our certified bone densitometry techs.
We have a LabCorp draw station onsite for our patients. Most labs are processed through LabCorp.
