Providers & Medical Assistants

 Dr. June was born in Pontiac Michigan, and has lived throughout the state including Flint, Bay City, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Oak Park, with a brief stint in Chicago, Lakeland Florida and Rome New York. Dr. June knew he was to be in medicine since the age of five, and single mindedly made that dream happen by attending MSU for undergrad, and the College of Osteopathic Medicine afterwards. It wasn't until his second year of medical school that he decided on Rheumatology, (or it decided on him.)  Dr. June trained at Henry Ford Hospital for his 3rd, and 4th years of medical school, and went on to do an internal medicine residency at Metro Hospital in Grand Rapids area.   Aside from medicine, he enjoys Triathlon training, biking, swimming, running, etc. 

Dr. Trinh grew up in the Lansing area and graduated from Waverly High School. She attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Physiology and minoring in Music. She continued her education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and trained at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for her clinical rotations. She went on to further her training to complete a family medicine residency program in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Her areas of focus include Rheumatology, Pediatrics, Bone Health, and Integrative and Preventative Medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine. 

Dr. Trinh enjoys music and art. During her time at MSU, she played piano for her music minor, played violin with the MSU orchestra, and attended master classes. She also enjoys running, reading, trying out new snack-worthy eateries, and every flavor of ice cream. 

Dr. John Kolstoe, is Board Certified Rheumatology specialist. He graduated from University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1980. He did Internal Medicine training at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. He did his Rheumatology Fellowship at University of Minnesota. He practiced as a Clinical Assistant Professor in East Lansing from 1994 to present.

He moved back up to Northern Minnesota (where he grew up) in 2016. He was working with Rheumatologist. He trained a Nurse Practitioner with the American College of Rheumatology Core Curriculum, while also seeing Indian Health Service patients.

Dr. Kolstoe is happy to be back in the Greater Lansing area helping with patient care and medical education.

Timothy Palmer is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who joined our office in 2016. He received his Physician Assistant degree in 2012 from Wayne State University. His previous clinical experience includes 4 years of Gastroenterology at McLaren GI in Lansing, MI. He completed his undergraduate degree from Spring Arbor University in 1999. He worked in the private sector for several years before pursuing a career in the medical field. He enjoys various outdoor activities such as biking, traveling up north, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and two young boys. He also spends a great deal of time with his local church, playing in a worship band, and participating in community events in the Lansing area. 

 Kimberly Frazier is a board certified nurse practitioner in adult-gerontology. She has been with our office since September 2018. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Spring Arbor University. Kim's previous nurse practitioner experience includes endocrinology, internal medicine, pain management, and home health assessments. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 10 years working in an ambulatory surgery center, as well as a hospital staff nurse, pediatric clinic nurse, and nursing home staff nurse. Kim enjoys reading, gardening, and working on house projects with her husband. They have three grown children, two dogs, and two cats. 

Rachael is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who joined our practice this year.   She received her Physician Assistant degree in 2017 from Grand Valley State Univversity.   She completed her under graduate degree from Olivet College in 2014.   Her previous clinical experience includes 4 years at Michigan Gastroenterology in Lansing, MI.

Rachael enjoys hiking, running, basketball, or really anything that involves being outside.   She enjoys spending time with family and friends.   Rachael is married.   They have two dogs.

 Allison Trevino is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who initially joined our practice in 2020. After a year duration she broadened her horizons and ventured into Pain Management for an additional year. Her passion remained with Rheumatological disorders, and she enthusiastically returned to our practice in 2023. She received her Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies in 2020 from Western Michigan University. She completed her Bachelor of Science, major in Biomedical Sciences in 2017 from Central Michigan University. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant she became enamored with the field of medicine working as Certified Nurse Assistant for nearly 7 years and obtained Emergency Medical Technician License. Some her favorite past-times include kayaking, hiking, personal fitness, atypical board games and spending time with her family. They have one son and two cats that they cherish.
